For "Green Acres: Artists Farming Fields, Green Houses and Abandoned Lots" (2012), which was funded by an Emily Hall Tremaine Exhibition Award, the CAC's chief preparator Joel Armor redesigned this 40-year old artwork. Although only five of this eight-part series were exhibited here, this was its largest presentation since it was last seen in its entirety in 1972. After its presentation in Arlington, Virginia, this indoor farm, which served as the cornerstone of "Green Acres" became a rooftop farm above a condominium.
