Indicative of elephant's sociality, Jacci opted to envelop spectators in "crown moulding" made with rubber trunk/tail links. One of her cast "rubber drawings, "Jumbo" was a beloved zoo (London and Paris) and noted circus sensation (P.T. Barnum). He must be the only animal whose burnt remains are kept in an athletic director's office as souvenir of this university mascot.
