"Green Acres: Artists Farming Fields, Greenhouses and Abandoned Lots"
Contemporary Arts Center, Cincinnati OH
For "Green Acres: Artists Farming Fields, Green Houses and Abandoned Lots" (2012), which was funded by an Emily Hall Tremaine Exhibition Award, the CAC's chief Joel Armor redesigned this 40-year old artwork. Although only five of this series' eight parts were exhibited here, this was its largest presentation since it was last seen in its entirety in 1972. After its presentation at the Arlington Art Center in Virginia, this indoor farm, which transforms museums into greenhouses became a condominium's rooftop farm.
